Dana fuchs
SINGER, SONGWRITER & FOUNDER
Dana has been professionally performing since the age of 16 and is currently an international recording and touring artist of 15 years. Dana starred as Janis Joplin in the off Broadway hit musical, Love, Janis for a sold out 18 month run and had a starring role as Sadie in the Julie Taymor musical film, Across The Universe, bringing extensive music, theater, film and acting experience.
During the span of her performing career, Dana has amassed over a decade of experience giving performance clinics to large groups of children and young adults, as well as, working with private students for developing a path to artistry, overcoming performance anxiety and gaining stage confidence, which really amounts to just gaining confidence in everything. Dana is also a vocal coach trained in the Bel Canto method and she works privately with students of all ages.
Dana has been practicing mindfulness for over a decade, and has been a mindfulness teacher to adults and children for four years.
Dana has received a certification of completion from Mindful Schools that qualifies her to teach mindfulness to children Pre-K through 12th grade in public schools. She is also working towards a degree in early childhood education through SUNY.
Dana's idea for Mind The Music was to combine her years of musical performance and coaching, along with her mindfulness studies and teaching experience to bring a unique approach to this mindful music project. Dana is certain that mindfulness and music have tremendous power, especially when combined.

As Senior Vice President, MTV On Air Promos, Kevin Mackall oversaw some of MTV’s most memorable projects and innovative brand campaigns. Kevin’s pro-social work covers MTV’s Rock The Vote, “Get Yourself Tested” and “It’s Your Sex Life” in partnership with The Kaiser Family Foundation. Kevin’s award-winning MTV projects secured two Emmy Awards, a Peabody Award, several GLAAD Media Awards, Cable Positive POP Awards, NAMIC awards and multiple Promax/BDA Awards.
Next, Kevin served as Executive Creative Director for the iHeartRadio Music Festival, leading the brand and iHeartRadio app launch in September 2011, subsequently taking a staff role as SVP, Visual Branding, overseeing all of the company’s 2012 to 2015 events. Kevin’s creative impact was evident on iHeartMedia’s ratings and revenue increasing national television commercial campaigns, which he wrote, produced and directed for iHeartMedia’s Contemporary Hits, Country and Urban formats.
Recently, Kevin has been committed to protecting the emotional health and preventing suicide for our nation’s 75 million teens and young adults by serving as the Executive Creative Director of The Jed Foundation. Kevin has led the creation of content and event production to further JED’s mission.
