Mind The Music is a program that teaches mindfulness to children through music, movement and performance with the goal of building a strong community of engaged parents, caregivers and teachers.

Mindfulness is a technique that emphasizes paying attention to the present moment in an intentional, accepting, and non-judgmental way. Research suggests that children who practice mindfulness are better able to regulate emotions, improve ability to manage stress, increase focus and resilience, and improve overall physical well-being. We will learn many mindfulness techniques through songs, movement and activities - ultimately focusing on growing empathy and respect and fostering social, emotional, and academic growth!

The growing body of research on mindfulness in class-based contexts reveals the following list of core benefits:

The Mind the Music spring and summer indoor term is currently on hold for the pandemic but outdoor classes can be booked by request. Class is 45-50 minutes and is $20 per child plus an additional $10 for siblings over 9 months. Please let us know if you'd like to join and feel free to spread the word and invite any friends!

Please know, once safe to gather again, we are also available for public and private events, corporates, parties, school visits and any occasion where you want to reach children through mindfulness, movement and music!
